Dehradun, 10  May:
The State Government had reshuffled  several administrative officers on public interest here today. District  Magistrate Haridwar D Senthil Pandian has been relieved of his present post and  entrusted responsibility of Additional Secretary Peyjal, while, Additional  Secretary, Governor, Kurve Sachin Shardchandra has been appointed District  Magistrate Haridwar.
Additional Secretary Personnel,  Vigilance, Peyjal, Mini Irrigation and Suraj, Corruption Eradication and Public  Service Department Arvind Singh Hyanki has been relieved of the post of  Additional Secretary, Peyjal. Additional Commissioner and Regional Food  Controller Garhwal Region Harbans Chug has been relieved of the responsibility  of Regional Food Controller. Chief Development Officer Pithoragarh Ashok Kumar  has been kept in reserve, while, Joint Magistrate Pauri C Ravishankar has been  appointed as Chief Development Officer Almora. 
CDO Nainital Dheeraj Singh Gabaryal  has been transferred as CDO Udham Singh Nagar. Deputy Secretary, Employment,  Uttarakhand Government Atul Kumar Gupta has been entrusted responsibility of  Regional Food Controller Garhwal Region. City Magistrate Haridwar Hansadutt  Pandey has been handed over responsibility of General Manager, Garhwal Mandal  Vikas Nigam.
Deputy Collector Chamoli Mohammed  Nasir has been transferred as Deputy Collector Tehri and Deputy Collector  Almora Ilagiri has been given responsibility of Deputy Collector Udham Singh  Nagar. Deputy Collector Uttarkashi Kailash Tolia has been transferred as Deputy  Collector Bageshwar and Deputy Collector Bageshwar Shrish Kumar has been given  responsibility of Deputy Collector Uttarkashi. Meanwhile, Deputy Collector  Pithoragarh Jaswant Singh Rathore has been transferred as Deputy Collector  Champawat and Deputy Collector Pauri Surendra Singh Jungpangi has been  entrusted responsibility of Deputy Collector Nainital.

Despite no regular Janata Milan at Chief Minister  Residence on Thursday, Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna did not let the visitors  go back without hearing their grievances. The Chief Minister took out time to  listen to their problems and directed the concerned officers to redress them.  He also sanctioned funds for medical treatment and to disabled persons  amounting between Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 30,000. He also directed the officers to  initiate probe into the financial irregularities reported in Luxer City  Panchayat.
Interacting with the Electronic Media after the Janata  Milan, Chief Minister said that development of border districts was top  priority of the State Government and separate fund of Rs. 100 crore would be  constituted for the comprehensive development of backward Development Blocks.  He said that people's suggestions on development issues were being collected  from various districts and he himself was visiting places to take the  suggestions. "We will take these suggestions in consideration while drafting  the Budget," he said.
Chief Minister Bahuguna said that campaign would be  launched against adulteration in foodgrains though already directives had been  given to implement the related law strictly. He said that high level committees  had been constituted for restructuring of districts and another one would be  set up for identification of backward areas. He disclosed that a Cabinet Meeting  would be organized at Gairsen.

He has prayed for the peace of the departed soul  and strength for the bereaved family members. Mr. Bahuguna also talked with his  son Vivek Penyuli on telephone and said that he was with the bereaved family in  the time of sorrow.
