Lok Sabha Speaker Smt. Meira Kumar has expressed her heartfelt grief at the loss of many lives in the unfortunate boat tragedy on the Brahmaputra River in Assam. In her condolence message Smt. Meira Kumar said: “I am saddened to know about the loss of a large number of lives in the boat mishap near the Dhubri town of Assam. I convey my condolences to the bereaved families of those who have been killed in this tragic incident.”
