Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an advisory to the Assam Government and Neighbouring States to be on alert in the run-up to the ULFA Raising Day on April 7. The Centre has inputs that anti-talk factions of ULFA may try to create blockades/law and order situations in the area as their leaders have directed their cadres to execute plans to create disturbances and disrupt normal life in the region.
As a precaution, security forces in the area have also been kept on alert to thwart any plans by ULFA. You May Also Like
